Renowned internet artist, Shimada Fumikane (島田フミカネ) is famous in mixing adorable girls with World War II artillery and armory, which leads to a series what we known as "Mecha Musume". In 2005, his creations have been translated into figurines by Konami which is very well received by his fans as well as casual collectors like myself.

P-60試作機械化航空歩兵

The coolest looking lass in this brood has to be the Soviet Air Force P-60 with that slick, black chassis, blue eyes, blonde hair and that pointy cat's ears. I really like that ice-cold facial expression and that AK-47 machine gun she carries sure will fend off anyone trying to mess with her. There was also a pistol in a holster on her thigh which is really a cool addition as well. As for the plane itself, I feel it looks like a pen been positioned like this.

試作機械化局地航空兵　震電

From the Imperial Air Force of Japan comes Shinden, a powerful fighter jet in the WWII era which I supposed many unfortunate pilots committed "kamikaze" in. Anyway the girl in this piece seems like a reincarnation of a mongoose or something from that droopy ears and furry tail. She is the tallest in this set and comes with a cool-looking Japanese katana (sword). The modified wings of the plane on the rear of her legs that adjust to the angle of your liking. Since mine is the variant version, the propeller is "toothless".

Ms-462 高等訓練機

Woohoo... all otakus' fantasy comes true. a French maid in authentic maid outfit.. "MOE..." Ms-462 is a fighter plane from the French and comes in the camouflage body paintjob. The girl looks okay but I find the pair of spectacles acts like magnifying glass and magnify the already big enough eyes of hers. But with the neko mimi (cat's ears), nicely-kemp pony tail and maid attire, I believe she has be the one of hot fave in this set. The costume color for my variant piece is black in color while the normal piece is blue in color.

バレンタイン 機械化装甲歩兵

It is evident Valentine is the pride of the Royal British army and I'm sure many would love her to be their valentine as well. A very gentle expression as well that wholesome assets sure melts the hearts of many. I like the beret she is wearing on the head as well as the way Fumikane sensei has adopted the conveyor belt wheels of the tank as her legs. The 2 union jack wrapped boxes also give a strong hint of her nationality.

3号突撃装甲歩兵 G型

This is the piece that made me decided to choose the variant set over the normal one. The camo-designed uniform for this Deutsch (German) military artillery definitely looks better than the plain normal version. One prominent feature you would notice about S3AG is that huge gunnery she is carrying, which will makes you ponder where she draws that strength to carry it around. Some of the aspects I like about this piece include the nice camouflage uniform, the carrier bag on her back as well as the legs especially the way Fumikane sensei has included 2 wheels at the rear. Like Ms-462, she comes with a pair of removable glasses.
