It's quite obvious by now that the exclusive figurine produced by Kaiyodo for their prestigious biannual hobby convention, Wonder Festival follows the strict pattern of trading figurine set in the winter and bottle cap figurines which accompany with the official drink of the summer campaign to quench thirst of the marauding army of collectors lining hours under the hot sun or within the humid exhibition hall to scout for their prized items found in the exhibition. While the hot sculptor assigned with the role of the BC figurines is Enoki Tomohide for last summer, this year round it's the prince of Moe (萌) figurines, Miyakawa Takashi from "T's System". It is also to be noted that it was fortunate that this year's official drink, Suntory's "Uroncha" (烏龍茶) comes in a pair instead of 4 bottles like last year which makes it easy just top drink it down at one go to lessen the weight throughout.

Wanda

It's summer and Wanda and Reset like many young Japanese damsels who grabbed that opportunity to have some fun at the beach. This pair would comfortably assimilate into previous trading figurine series like exhaust's "Memories off 2nd" or Bandai's "Keroro Heroines ~Beach Collection" with the girls all in swimsuit, and having fun with water and the prominent light blue base. Good point first, plenty of "Moe"-ness for those pedophilic otakus with the wide anime type eyes and exposure of nubile skins. The design is a bit mundane but the sculpt is well conceived and the main attraction have to be the high Kaiyodo standards in paintjob, especially love the toning on Wanda's violet colored hair. The huge pair of goggle hanging on her head is an adorable addition as well.

Reset

Personally I prefer Reset-chan in this set and perhaps Miyakawa sensei has a personal interest in the long, blond-haired Reset over Wanda. Armed with a huge "Super Soaker" like water gun (which is done exquisitely with the transparency of the material), Reset is lowering her own goggles much like a femme fatale locking into action. I really like the facial expression and if you thought it's cosmetic blemishes on both Wanda and Resets' faces you are utterly wrong as it is some sort of new "blushing" effect that Miyakawa sensei adopts (I prefer that from Ooshima sensei and not this). The goggles once again has its appeal and love the button-like hair accessories of Reset which is such a fine feature of hers.
