If you had been watching anime for a while now, it would be diffuicult to imagine that you have not heard of the manga-ka CLAMP. Known for great works like "X", "Cardcaptor Sakura", "Magical Rayearth", "Angelic Layer", "Chobits" and more recent times, "Tsubasa Chronicle (Tsubasa: RESERvoir CHRoNiCLE)" & "xxxHolic", this 4-men(women) super group has garnered a fanbase worlwide. After releasing a series of SD chess figurines in the pass which I regretted till this day on missing on. Therefore when Movic came up with this CLAMP in 3D Land set, I knew I must get 'em all! |

Syaoran in his Taoist priest robe seen in the "Cardcaptir Sakura" series had a hard time chasing one of Clow card, "The Jump" which appears as a pink rabbit-like soft toy. This nice vignette really captures the action of the relentless tussle the cardcaptor and the Clow card entity. Syaoran looks valiant and up to the task, working his tools with precision. The robe, sword and scabbard are detailed. I like the projectile of Jump and the effect off the ground.

My favorite piece of this set has to be Chi, the lead character/persocom of "Chobits". Chi and perhaps her twin sister Freya are endearing characters popular in the scene and personally I felt it's the best character CLAMP has designed in years. Here we have Chi dressed in her princess set-up with a big bow and a tiara on her head. Sleeping beside her is the little character from the book written by Hibiya Chitose titled "A City with no People" which Chi found to resembles her life. Wonderful sculpt here from Sato sensei with Chi looks very natural with her pose. I also love the way her long locks flowing to form a support of sort and she has a beautiful face. The color combination for the dress looks very elegant and of course "Atashi" is a delightful inclusion.

Ichihara Yuko, the mysterious fortune teller who employed the male lead, Watanuki to torment him with the impossible list of chores and the side quests in order to unearth his talent. Here we see Yuko basking in a smoke on her pipe while sitting comfortably on her throne seen regularly in the anime series with the pillar and curtain included. Like Chi, her attire include a big bow in the front and reveals lot of flesh or leave it up to your imagination. There is high degree of details such as the motif on her sleeve, the anklet and choker. The only shortcoming is that Yuko possess such a slender figure in the show, so the SD format doesn't really suits her.

The only series from CLAMP in this volume which I have no knowledge of at all. This Kadokawa Shoten-published manga series which ran 3 volumes since 2000 but hit a close-ended sabbatical, you can read a bit of the series here. The temperamental Kudo was found lying half dead in the snow before being rescued by Rikuo & brought him to the Green Drugstore and his a
