There were 2 Syaorans in the story, a real one which had been kidnapped by a guy named Fei Wong Reed and a clone who should be who this figurine is portraying. Adopted by an archeologist father since young and residing the the Clow Kingdom, he developed a passion for archeology as well as fondness towards the princess who he grew up with. Here we see Syaoran in perhaps native Clow Kingdom commoners' clothing. Clutching a golden staff with a rather peculiar head could be used for battle or perhaps some archeology tool, Syaoran was perhaps in the middle of his treasure-hunting as the backdrop has revealed. Rather plain piece except for the staff of course.

We had seen Kazahaya from "Legal Drugs" in Volume 1, meet the 2nd protagonist of the story as well as the Kaza's savior, Rikuo. His mysterious past centered on a woman named Tsukiko and he bears the power of telekinesis. His calm nature and masculine good looks had girls swooning to the drugstore just to have a look at him. This vignette have Rikuo sitting nicely on the steps which act as a wonderfully-crafted base. Rikuo possess that cool facial features which is atypical of CLAMP's works past and present. I really like his fashion sense including the gloves and scarf.

"Seiden RG Veda" is CLAMP's earliest work back in 1989 which features element of Vedic mythology. Yasha-O is one of the "Six Stars" to over throw the megalomaniac Taishakuten who usurped the Heavenly Emperor. He was also the head of the Yasaha clan and the guardian of the lead of the story, Ashura which led to the downfall of his entire clan. Yasha-O does fit the role of the renegade warrior here. Perched in a rock with his barefoot, his long, dark locks flew in the direction of the win as his eagle-eyes focus on any imminent danger to him or whoever he is protecting. I have not read the series but the impression Yasha-O projects to me was that he was a no-nonsense swordsman but a great asset in any mission. Live the details on the sword handle as well as his necklace.

"Angelic Layer" is a popular manga series from CLAMP in the late 1990s which turned into an anime series known as "Battle Doll Angelic Layer". It was set in the same universe as "Chobits" and one of the prime character Ichiro Mihara is the creator of both Angels and persocoms in both series. Hikaru is the lead angel in the series and is seen here with her owner or "Deus", Misaki. Hikaru's strength which see her progress into the finals of the Angelic Layer was his speed and nimbleness despite being pint-sized. Here Hikaru is seen dashing with great athleticism with a mini Misaki cheering her on in the backdrop but in reality the sizes should be the other way round. Hikaru's colorful attire certainly is eye-catching among the Angels and should be well-adapted for her battles. The pose is nice but is also the bane of this piece as it results in the weight of her head leading to the piece is keep losing balance on itself.

3 & a half stars because I really like the Freya piece as well as Rikuo and moderately for Yasha-O. |
