Subaru is the 13th Head of the Sumeragi clan, a family of onmyoji. He tends to be rather shy, but is extremely kindhearted. He constantly wears gloves over his hands for reasons known only to his grandmother. A shadowy childhood moment may provide the answer. Subaru's grandmother ordered him to wear gloves from that day onwards, and never to allow anyone else to see his hands. The old onmyoji cast a spell that would repel any attempts by others to remove them. Subaru never removed his gloves, and was known to wear them even when sleeping. Here we see a Subaru in an all white attire which most probably designed by her flamboyant twin sister. The attire reminds me of a Spanish matador although I have no idea what the point of the contest stash is for; the gloves which mentioned about is there all right. Subaru looks more boyish than he supposed to be. The globe which only shows the islands of Japan, I supposed to indicate the locations of possible haunting which Subaru will take care of.

The protagonist of the series and the last living member of the Ashura clan, Ashura was born after Taishakuten had killed his father and seized the throne. His mother, Shashi, at the same time gave birth to Taishakuten's son Ten-O, and tried to kill Ashura, whom she believed must stand in her way to rule Heaven at Taishakuten's side. However, Ashura's powers protected him and enclosed him in a cocoon where he slept undisturbed for three hundred years, until Yasha-O awoke him. As punishment, Ashura was born genderless therefore Ashura's look is ambiguous, bearing both male and female features. Like Yasha-O from Vol. 2, Ashura is seen perching on a rock, kneeling forward with his/her sword in hand. The sword handle and hair ornament which matches are nicely made.

Both Sumomo & Kotoko are mobile persocomm in the Chobits universe equivalent to our real-life laptops. Sumomo, the loud and cheerful persocomm dressed in a genie outfit and always carrying a whistle as seen here formerly belongs to Hideki's best friend, Shinbo who left her under his care when he eloped with their prep teacher. Meanwhile Kotoko, of a more serious nature was owned by a maniac by the name of Yoshiyuki who kidnapped Chi previously. But after he was caught, his persocomm was legally placed under Hideki's name as well. These strange bedfellows formed an important supporting axis in the storyline and both appeared in a story-arc of "Tsubasa Chronicles". A nice vignette of the pair lining side by side with the energetic Sumomo creating her usual din. It is Kotoko which really appeals with her signature listless expression and her adorable bells she used as hair accessories. However she joined in Sumomo's musical interlude with her tambourine.
Although her full name is Hinata, she likes the people she likes the most to call her Hina. 16 year old Hina gets excellent grades, but is still very naïve and sees the world with child-like wonder and innocence. Hina chooses to live on her own, with two teddy bears named Waka and Tono and her new found friend, a cat. She wants to live on her own to accommodate her father's hectic schedule. Here it seems like Hina is back to her childhood as she snuggles her two teddy bears. Donned in the sailor uniform and white socks, Hina looks still in the kindergarten. I really like Tono, the bespectacled bear. Other than that, I am sure not many people have any idea this short mange series is about and this piece relegates into a filler piece that's all.
