Since I had bought the Yamato's SIF Samurai Champloo last weekend, I felt compelled to finished the series which I stopped
watching since episode 4; and I must say the storyline gets tastier as the series progressed and the 3 main characters became more and more likeable as time
passed. I love the way the story added some contemporary feel to some historical event in Edo Japan especially their language which includes so many
English-influenced slang. If you want nice humor with some cool fight scene and binge on a good storyline throughout, I strongly reccomend this series!
Some up and coming trading figures/ shokugans series:
Some outstanding updates from some well-known hardcore collectors from Japan:
|
15th December 2005:
Note: The actual name of Chopper from the TV animation "One Piece" is Tony Tony Chopper.
14th December 2005:
Note: Range here refers to the great Japanese fashion artist, Murata Range (村田蓮爾).
13th December 2005:
Yes we have come to the time of the year again to wine, dine, splurge and most importantly get all the presents you want!
This year, Gashapon Rakuen would like to reward our faithful supporters of this webpage of past & present with a classic X'mas carol
with your usual "Gasha-Ra" twist, here goes (in the tune of "On the 12th day of X'mas"):
11th December 2005:
A great week in regards to the overall haul..check them out...
10th December 2005: The long awaited Bleach Characters Part 2 (look at the
size of the blind box!), HG Marvel Heroes Part 4
Yamato's SIF Samurai Champloo (Battle cry~~);Bandai's Viva Naruto Sanbanme; Tomytec's Tetsudo Musume Part 1
Impulse Purchase (I): Yujin's SR Kabu de Ikou & Nightmare Before X'mas Figure Collection
Impulse Purchase (II): Takara's Art of Dreams: World of Peanuts Part 2 loose piece; Square Enix's これが私の御主人様 2006
Table Top Calendar
Last but not least, the gift sent to me by my buddy at Osaka, Toranoana's Palm Characters: Kujikibi Unbalance (Thanks man! Sure
made my day to receive them finally!)

Although budget has been allocated for above purchases but definitely such impetus fashion is not healthy for any toys collectors especially one who
needs large sum of money for his "BIG" project like myself...
Then again X'mas is just round the corner, doesn't really hurt much to splurge a little...
8th December 2005:
It's been confirmed, I think the population of girls (bishoujo 美少女) figurines had increased
ten folds and the balance of the sexes has to be tide down with an army of male pirates from "One Piece"; anyway
anyway here's the updated collection list:
1) SR Binchotan 2
2) Pocket Theater Hakkaya
3) Pia Carrot Yokoso!! 3 Figure Collection
4) HGIF Eva Sadamoto Yoshiyuki Collection 4
5) PSE Version 1.5
6) PSE Version 2
7) Leaf Collection 6 ~Kotone~
Do enjoy!
6th December 2005:
The past weekend hasn't been to productive as I hope to be, got distracted by all kinds of stuffs but rest assured the new collections reviews
should be up in a couple of days time, meanwhile here is some rant:
From archives in recent blogs by Akiba-jin ( 萌えよ!アキバ人ブログ), live sneak previews
of some of the trading figures set for released in the coming month, from the displays in the great hobby stores in the hub of it all, Akihabara:
Some complete figurines coming soon:
The March 2006 list of gashapons is out!! Below are those I think worth a mention (all pictures courtesy of east-up):
Been pretty tired from work as well as hunting for a nice restaurant for my wedding banquet (Oops, you didn't know that); thus
pretty short on the updates...anyway here's a latest rant:
Here are some of the gashapon/ trading figures/ shokugans series that had been released over the last few days:
Gundam Seed Destiny fans take note and prepare a hefty wallet to welcome a series of figurines collection within the span of next few days:
Do not fret fans of "Tim Burton's Nightmare Before X'mas", our good people in Japan has also produced a few items of your favorite
stop-motion animation featuring Jack and gang of course:
A couple of exclusive items you might be interested in:
Some complete figurines on sale now:
Some up and coming stuff of my interests:
Not much Kamen Riders seen in my collections? I'll show you up to 15 of them in the following:
26th November 2005: Max Factory Collect 600: Guyver, The Biobooster Armor #02
Uploaded a couple of nice trading figure series which stand a high chance to be in my top ten for this year:
Here are some of the gashapon/ trading figures/ shokugans series that had been released over the last few days:
Megahouse has been doing some nice book exclusive figurines recently including
岬ちゃん (Courtesy of Mi's Collection) from Volume 4 of NHK へようこそ! as well プリムラ (Bulima)from "Shuffle! Characters" Volume 4 (Courtesy of Taste).
One nice complete painted PVC figurine that had been released recently is the Alter's Bakuretsu Tenshi Jo 爆裂天使( Courtesy of Hinatachiki); if I ever
do seriously collect complete figurines I would get it for sure and it can be complimented nicely Megu (Courtesy of Shop 702) to be released in Feburary 2006.
Some new trading figurine set that one should take note as followed:
Recently have been catching a new anime series known as "Mushishi" (蟲師) which delves into an unknown living organism which
resembles unicellular organisms like amoeba or bacteria except they possess supernatural abilities like eating your sense or hearing or closing your inner eyelid or
transform your dreams into reality. For a scientific person like myself who know my biodiversity, this is totally absurd but this story is nonetheless enjoyable
for that fresh genre and love the moral behind each tale.
Uploaded some items I had acquired from my recent Japan trip as well as the Wonder FestivaL:
19th November 2005: Dengeki Daioh January 2006 Edition with the 4th Ichigo Mashimaro
figurine, Bandai's Naruto Ultimate Collection & Yujin's SR Tsubasa Chronicle
Back from my reservist and upload a full Konjiki no Gash Bell! special for Gashapon Rakuen:
12th November 2005: McFarlane's Toys Corpse Bride Mini-figure Collector set- Land of Living Dead
It'll be a week again for any updates but at the meantime please savour the review on the following:
The webpage should be up and running at maximum capacity in a day or 2 time...
29th October 2005: Yujin's Tsubasa Chronicle Swing Mascot Keychain & Loose Kotobukiya One Coin
Figure Collection: Overman Part 2
YES!!
No, I have not given up on this webpage altogether...
Finally done the full report for the Wonder Festival 2005 summer edition
here.
Yes I'm back from a 2 week Japan escapade, and all I could say about my trip was...
I wish I need not come back at some point, but not when I am running out of yen...
It's a matter of days to my trip...anticipation level to the maximum, so this would be the
final update till I return in 2 weeks time...
It's August already, thus it's hard to contain that excitement
inside me as it's less than a fornight away for my trip to Japan..to WonderFest..to
Nakano..to Akihabara..to Den Den Town..yoohoo
With the likes of "Batman Begins" and "Fantastic Four" hitting the box-office charts for the past
summer, the superhero genre continues to be on the high and this time I focus on some
mini figurines by Japanese toy manufacturers using well known Marvel and DC superheroes:
Ooh higly productive week thus far with some updates already before the week even ends.
After 2 full weeks, here are some updates into my collections...
Recently starting to watch the NHK 2003 Taiga serials "Shinsengumi" which was only fitting that
I have uploaded a set which drew much referance from the historical figures themselves,
"Rurouni Kenshin Part 3"
This week did some updates with some quality, random purchases over the past half a year or so:
Been dragged too long for an update with one of the nicest trading figurines I have:
Uploaded a couple of novelty exclusive items done by the good people of Kaiyodo you
MUST check out when you have the time (or even you do not have the
time, it's a sin if you do not grace my reviews after the efforts in taking the nice picture, spend
time on the Photoshop, cautiously composing the html and painstakingly uploading them; so you
would burn in the bluest blue hell if you don't at least click the following links):
Uploaded the recently concluded and purchased Tenjho Tenge Figure Series
Part 1,
2 &
3, do check
them out!
Due to my recent rekindled flame for "One Piece", I have uploaded the following figurine collections
I acquired this year for my favorite pirate crew:
Finally took some time off during the long Vesak weekend to
assemble and take a shoot of my "Watashi no Onisan" series..
Engage anime characters in battle positions, it's time for some "Real Collection":
It's a all Kaiyodo update for this week:
Let's get imaginative with the following imagination figures:
Updated the Products release schedule
with a lot of new stuffs coming in the month of
August which I hope can get first-hand upon it's release in Japan, if you know what I mean...
Gashapon Rakuen is 1!!
Don't think there might be any collections update for this week as I'm too addicted to the
latest edition of the famous Football Managing game from Sports Interactive,
Football
Manager 2005.
Finally did my review of the entire series of the K&M Akira (Part
1,
2 &
3)
2000 Hits for my site, (almost 3/4 is by myself..doh!), I have also just uploaded my 200th collection
review, what coincidence!
The big news for the entire week is the funeral procession of the Pope, John Paul II.
A spiritual leader who was well adored by millions of Catholics around the world, rest in peace!
A huge shipment arrives at La Tendo last weekend,
and a massive haul for me, a result of delayed shipment compounded with the fact that plenty
of items on my wishlist has been released over the matters of days.
Another massive earthquake (richter: 8.2) hit Indonesia, this time in Sumatra..once again
showing how our lives are hanging on the make and break of mother nature...
First of all, a happy Good Friday & Happy Easter to all Christian friends out there!
Not much significance to me, but it is a very welcome long weekend from work since the
past month been really hectic in work
Uploaded Legends of Dragons,
Belldandy ~on the Earth~ &
Ibara no Oo's "Kasumi's Vignette"
in my collections. Do check them out!
Spent sometime do some remodification to my "gasha-lingo" page
as well as the "Makers", hope
you guys would find the beta versions more useful than before.
A pretty hectic Saturday for me.
It's an all Full Metal Alchemist uploads this time: HG series Part 1,
2,
Trading Arts Vol. 1,
2.
Dropped by La Tendo on Thursday evening to see what they had hauled back from the inaugural
Wonder Festival, and was overall impressed with their array of exclusive goodies and
hard to find series...
The aftermath of the 2005 Winter Edition of Wonder Festival was pretty overwhelming especially to the
internet community...
Fresh from a nice Lunar New Year- Valentines break, managed to spend a large chunk of my ang pow money
on watching 3 movies. The best part is none of the 3 is a Hollywood blockbuster as well as these movies are some of the
best shows I had watched for a long time (even though it was always a blue moon when I actually pay the cineplexes a visit):
恭喜发财!!
Some more new updates to the product schedule as it seems like April/May would be equally taxing on my pockets
as the 1st quarter of the year.
Updated the Product schedule with the actual release date of gashapons in January as well
as partial line up of gashapons in April. April seems to be the next killer month in terms
of budget on my calendar!!
Happy New Year!!

KK Heng 2006

1. Bandai's U.C. Arms Gallery Vol. 1 (Trying to combine Ore-gun with Mononofu)
2. Agamatsu's Biohazard 4 Collection Figure Vol. 1 (I really like the Chainsaw couple, love the rustic tone on the paintjob!)
3. Bandai's Bleach Characters Part 2 (I know of plenty of people salivating for this set to be released. Personally no improvement in the paintjob and something
amiss about Orihime's face.)
4. Happinet Robin's 3D Design Figure: Ichigo Mashmallow (The girls look adorable but highly unlikely I will get this)
5. Cafe Reo's Gan Gan Trading Arts(Havok of "Fullmetal Alchemist" Looks terrible, only like Lumina from "Tokyo Underground")
6. Bandai's Zeta Heroines
1. Alter's The Rumble Fish Garnet (Really sexy, my heart has been smittened)
2. Alter's 聖天使ジブリール Aries (To rival that from Kotobukiya for the same character)
3. Max Factory's 魔界戦記ディスガイア エトナ Edna from Disgaea (Nice face, but something just not right for me about the pose)
4. Toys Planning's Soul Link 森崎七央 (Swimsuit version of this character for all otakus out there)
5. Good Smile Co.'s アキバBlog ナードたん (Naado-tan) (Goes well with the girls of Moe-tan)

Horse Orphanoch(More mesmerizing enemies of Kamen Rider Faiz)
7. Hobby Japan Exclusive Santa Asuka (Doubt you can get this easily in Singapore)
From Bandai
1. HG DBZ Imgination Part 7 (1),
(2) (The sculpt is fantastic, hope the paintjob can justify the 300 yen pricing)
2. HGIF Evangelion Sadamoto Yoshiyuki Collection Part 5
3. HGIF Mai-Otohime Part 2 (1),
(2) (The design look better than Part 1)
From Yujin'
1. Children's Encyclopedia Series (Sports): Sumo (Don't you find it interesting?)
2. SR Ikkitousen (一騎当千)(1),
(2) (should be better than the previous gacha series for this anime by Run'a and Epoch)
Looks like I will have only one set of gashapon set on my wanted list for March again...
1st December 2005:

1. Tomytec's Tetsudou Musume Part 1 (Courtesy of Amiami)
(Hungrily waiting for this first part to arrive locally...)

(& I am still waiting for my Toranoana Palm Characters version, now still in Osaka)
3. exhaust's World's End Capsule Figure (Courtesy of Shop 702)
4. Happinet Robin's Houkuto no Ken All Stars Part 4 (Courtesy of Shop 702)
5. Yujin's TFC R.O.D. (Courtesy of Akiba-jin)
6. Bandai's HG Dragonball Z Part 9 (Courtesy of e-flick.net)
7. Yujin's SR Kabu de Ikou! (Courtesy of Shop 702)
(Quite interested in this set, perhaps will hit the capsule machine for this)
8. Yujin's Casper Collection Figure (Courtesy of Spanky)
1. Bandai's Gundam Seed Heroines Part 6 (Courtesy of へたれ大MAX)
2. Megahouse's Halo Capsule Gundam Seed Destiny Part 2 (Courtesy of Shop 702)
3. EF Collection Destiny Part 4 (Courtesy of Shokugan Oukoku)
Do take note of an adorable "chibi" PF Collection(Courtesy of Shokugan Oukoku) coming on 3rd of
January.
1. Tomytec's Nightmare Chess Black & WHite(Courtesy of Spanky) (At 500 yen per piece, too costly if you ask me)
2. NBC Figure Collection (Courtesy of Shop 702) (will definitely get this)
1. Japan 7-11 Exclusive King King Bottle cap Figure, produced by Kaiyodo (Courtesy of Shokuganpo)
2. Rozen Maiden Figure Collection (Courtesy of Rakuten) (Looks like my kind of stuff but at that price sure is deterring potential buyers
plus we at Singapore can forget about this)
1. Max Factory's Soul Link 森崎七央 (Courtesy of Amiami)
2. Max Factory's Love Hina 成瀬川 なる (Courtesy of アスまんが劇場)
3. Megahouse' Excellent Model Eureka 7 (Courtesy of Shop 702)

An updated picture of Tetsudou Musume Part 2 coming in March 2006, courtesy of Hobbynet.
(Looks good to follow up the Part 1)
Bandai's Bleach Characters Part 3 is coming in mid March, with 6 characters featured this time round but no pictures
to preview yet.
An updated of the "Kotobukiya One Coin To Heart 2" set bound for Feburary release (from Katoots) which
is really appealing with the color and the details vividly shown. EXCEPT Kotobukiya has finally succumbed to the high price
tag their competitors had been asking and gleefully (and laughing to their bank) increase the supposedly 500 yen products to 600 yen (which makes no sense now as to pay
600 yen, you will have to use a 500 yen and a 100 yen coin, so literally this should be known as "2 Coin" collection). Well even at 600 yen, Kotobukiya's trading figures can easily neat
the likes of Yamato, Yujin and even Square Enix in terms of quality for the same price. But this set consists of 8 normal figurines plus a secret, so better expect a price close to $100!
The list of gashapons for the month of March is out, will give a sneak peak on what interest me in the next rant...till then, start giving yourself a list of figurines
you want for X'mas and pray that yourself will have to buy for you....
27th November 2005:
1. Kamen Rider Imagination Part 1
2. Kamen Rider Imagination Part 2
3. Kamen Rider Imagination Part 3
Didn't get much this week which is a good thing, budget and space wise. However I bought an item which occupies
way too much space and puts a massive dent in my savings account, doh!!

Also updated the Product Release Schedule with some items
lining up to be release in the early quarter of 2006, so check them up and set your budget !!
23rd November 2005:
1. NEO 超像革命 Galaxy Express 999
2. Full Metal Alchemist Characters DX
Another new feature to be introduced here. This is what I would like to know as "Hobby Rant" as I will look up information by the
"otaku" correspondants over in Japan to see what nice toys had been released and perhaps preview some stuffs that is worth previewing.
Of course bitch about how I would love to get some items but not fated to get them. I will also update (as well as
recommend) some manga/anime series I had been indulging in..here goes:

1. Gargyole's Genshiken Collection Figure (Courtesy of Shop 702)
(Wanting to get this but now pinning my hopes on my buddies at La Tendo to see it's that feasible)
2. Kotobukiya's One Coin おジャ魔女どれみ (Oja Mahou Doremi) (Courtesy of Shop 702)
(Should be coming in real soon)
3. Toranoana's Palm Characters 水月 (Suigetsu) (Courtesy of Akiba-jin Blog)

Another piece that came in locally is the 2nd instalment for
式神の城II ニーギ・ゴージャスブルー (Nikki) by Good Smile Co. which will compliment the first piece
ふみこ・O・V (Fumiko). (Both courtesy from Taste)
There's a Hobby Japan exclusive Izumi (沢渡いずみ) (Courtesy of Taste) figurine from the "He's My Master (これが私の御主人様)" series which
didn't look too terrific but this Gainax series sure is buzzing among the otaku community.
New figurines to be released in the new year from Kotobukiya include
(Courtesy of Hobbynet) from "Tristia of the Deep Blue Sea" as well as
a pair of Rei & Asuka in Plugsuit (Courtesy of Noda-ya) perhaps to counter the pair released by Alter.
1. CM's GunXSword Collection Figure, releasing in late Feburary 2006

1. Full Color Part 2
2. Real Collection
3. Figure Collection ~新たなる力!ラウザルク編~
4. Diorama World
5. 古の最終決戦BOX

Thought I would off the hook of spending for a 2nd consecutive week but a trip to Spawnasia with my toys kakis, resulted in acquiring the
above 3 sets of the mini figure collection for the latest Tim Burton's stop-motion animation feature which most probably would not
have a gashapon or trading figurine version from Japan as it is not a Disney production. The price was alluring and the
rest was history and I went home a poorer but happier man...once again naturally.
6th November 2005:
1. 一撃殺虫!!Hoi Hoi san
2. Devil May Cry 2 Mini Action Figure Collection
3. Mecha Musume Part 1

28th October 2005:
Gashapon Rakuen has officially became a domain of it's own..no more irritating advertisements or pop-ups...
and most important my webpages won't disappeared into oblivion..yoohoo!!
I am still in the final process of uploading all the collections reviews, all 267 of them; and will be making use of the
Singapore version of "Golden Week" at the beginning of November to upload some more new reviews, so do
watch this space..
At the meantime please enjoy the Japan travelogue I had toiled many nights rigging up
here.
And don't forget my Wonder Festival 2005 summer edition report...
Last but not least, please sign my
brand new guest book as well (^_<)
17th October 2005:
But I am pretty pre-occupied with some stuffs at the moment such as my travel video. But
the niggling problem of all my uploaded files been thrown into oblivion as my newly set-up accounts
just disappeared overnight definitely did not went down well for me.
I will seek a reliable web host and even if I have to pay monthly , I feel the passion I had
for my toys collection was able to justify it. Plus I still have tons of new gashapons/ shokugans/
trading figures awaiting to be photographed and reviewed...
So it's not over for Gashapon Rakuen, and I forsee by November things would be back to normal, without
the irritating advertisements and pop-ups, all for your viewing pleasure.
Thanks for supporting this page for the past year or so...
At the meantime, I have unploaded an updated Product Release Schedule, and the festive season
is all lined up with some new items to collect...
23rd September 2005:
As for my full travelogue, it's 2/3 done, should be completed anytime, as long as my
free 50megs domain would not disappeared into oblivion for no apparent reason...&*%&^$^#$^##^@%@!!!
9th September 2005:
Had so much fresh and plesant experiences, meet so many nice people & reconcile with
some close friends, shopped till we dropped and dine and wine till we can't stop; so
much to tell which was why I am trying very hard to come out with the travelogue as
soon as I can with the thousand over photos we took along the way...
Do expect a comprehensive Wonder Festival summer 2005 report as well soon..
At the meantime so many goodies coming out at the end othe year, check out the

One item I was surprised to purchase is SR Binchotan Version 1.5"
here in Singapore a bit earlier than its actual release in Japan. Nice set, compelled me to do
the photo shoot-up and review within 2 days.
Watching a sad Japanese dorama, "Sekai no chuushin de, ai wo sakebu", based on the award-winning novel
and block buster movie of the same name. This TBS production garner a spectacular 15.9% viewership in summer
of 2004, and sent all viewers into endless tear-jerking much like what they have done to me, my girlfriend and even
her brother!!

Recently switched to Mozilla's FireFox browser due to some irritating Javascript problem with my
Internet Explorer which has persist for sometime now. As many have raved in the past, FireFox sure
kicks ass, and the pop-ups are minimised. However I'm sad to say that some of my
html script for most pages in my webpage which was previously fine for I.E. but looks out of
proportions for FireFox, hope you guys are fine with it, because it's way too tedious
for me to change my script from scratch now.
Went to the NATAS Travel Fair last weekend, and it was a good choice there from my
girlfriend as we managed to grab a good deal with Japanese Airline (JAL) Tours with
a free and easy package with lodging included in Osaka. What really prompt us to do so, is
that the package stretches all the way to September, which is ideal for our summer
trip in August. Well things are getting rosy and we both are all hyped up for the tour.
The problem is... .... there are still 5 more freakingmonths to go!!!!
16th March 2005:

& the 1/8 scale Nijihara Ink.

6th March 2005:
For a long time managed to go shopping with my ever-busy girlfriend on a Saturday afternoon.
Anyway went to the opening day of the Dot Con Toy convention organised by the good people
from sgcollect. It's the 2nd year running and this time
held in the grand ballroom of Excelsior Hotel. The scale seemingly looked bigger, that even my buddies from
La Tendo put up a 2 tables- booth. However with the absence
of some usual toy shops like Doll's Inc. & Goobertoys, this convention did not seem the same as their predecessor.
The sudden cancellation of the "Pinky:St. Photo taking session" sure is a mere disappoinment
as well as the the "Streetfighter" competition is way too down the nostalgic lane.
We left the event without me bother to take pictures for a comprehensive report.
Finally I gave in to temptations:
My love gave this pair to me as a belated Valetine's gift, to my extreme joy of course.
Actually wanted to collect Nijihara Ink together with her Moe-tan counterpart, Pastel Ink.
However the latter has yet to land in La Tendo, so the 1/8 scale Saber from "Fate/Stay Night" is
well capable to fill the void...
I have taken the pictures of the 2, will be posting the review in no time, so watch this space, ladies
and gentlemen.
1st March 2005:
Also uploaded
Studio Ghibli Image Model Collection Part VIII: Howl's Moving Castle & WF exclusive
Pokemon Battle Collection: Pikachu Special Edition.
A lot of interesting events to not on your calendar:
1. Dot con 2005 on 5th and 6th March
2. Gacha Fair organised by Toy Room on starting from the 9th of March.
Will give some pictorial reviews if I have the chance to attend....
26th February 2005:
I was pretty disappointed that they could not get their hands on the pair of Doujin Hoops/ T system
exclusive figurines (Pettan and Ayuka) for me as those 2 were top on my list of wanted stuffs.
However I found a sealed box of "Pettan" lying somewhere in their store, only to find out that
Matthew bought it elsewhere for his own collection. I was even more devastated....(;_;).
Well just have to try my luck looking for it later in my own WF expedition in August.
The absence of the 2 pieces, my budget was freed up a bit and thus without a 2nd reconsideration, I grabbed
a complete set of the WF exclusive "Wanda and Reset Oshiare Dorobou (Fashion Robbers)". At first just wanted
a pair for keepsake purpose but getting the entire 8 piece set is a very wise choice indeed!
Took some pictures of the packaging and my fave pair to poison my fellow
collectors in my toys forums, will do a more comprehensive review later on:
Nice pink Inner box
Individual blind boxes
Chaning Kit version
My fave Devil version
Nice right, go ahead and "lie, cheat and steal" for your own set NOW!
22nd February 2005:
Read all about it in my usual forums:
Katoots-Gashapons. Shokugans and Trading Figures
Katoots-Complete, fully colored resin/PVC figurines
Play.com.my
Can also check out the report from Shokugan-honpo.
Seems like there's not too many new Kaiyodo stuffs that really caught my attentions (not those that I already knew about such as
the Tenjo Tenge gashapons, Horico's Morizo & Kiccoro Mori no Leaf Biscuit as well as K-T Dead or Alive"). Talking about
the Morizo & Kiccoro stuffs, I really want the 2 exclusive figures which could only be purchase at the actual
World Expo in Aichi, as it starts in March (no chance at all!!!)
One big news that sent fans scrambling around in joy is the fact that 2 excellent resin kit and
figurine manufacturers, Max Factory
and Good Smile Company will be releasing
elegant trading figurines that would send all collectors wild with anticipation!
Max Factory would be releasing a nice Onegai anime series based trading figures based on original
resin figures or garage kits, known as "Onegai Taraku Collection" as seen below:

Mizuho looks especially delicious, yummy....

2004 was a big year for 2 Type-Moon PC games. First one was "Tsukihime" which even spawned an anime series.
The second is of course, "Fate/Stay Night". The associated trading figurines, complete figures etc. kept releasing
in the past months, and Good Smile Co. is going to release the mother of all Fate figurines:

Just counting down the days before all these goodies arrived to our shores....
18th February 2005:
Howl's Moving Castle
Miyazaki's long anticipated masterpiece for Studio Ghibli based on Diana Wayne Jones' famous fantasy story.
Sure becomes my next favorite Ghibli's production after "Laputa".
Bayside Shakedown 2
Yuji Ouda reprised one of his most memorable character, Detective Aoshima as he and his entire
Wanpan Police Department returned to crack more crimes that engulf the entire Odaiba area in Tokyo.
A roller coaster plot complimented with some of the best acting in the Japanese movie scene.
A Very Long Engagement
The dynamic team from "Amelie", actress Audrey Tatou and director Jean-Pierre Juene returns to tell
a tale about the journey of a handicapped girl in search of her fiance and childhood sweetheart
who was lost after been cour-martialed as well as banished to no man's land during the first World War.
Very engaging show which keep me and my girlfriend reeled throughout the Valentine's evening.
The week break also allows me to do some updates on my collectons...
Uploaded HG Cardcaptor Sakura Part 2,
SR Crimson Tears,
World Masterpiece Theater Bottlecap Part 1,
Sylvanian Families Memorable Scenes Collection,

I wish I could be on my way to Tokyo at this very moment to attend the 2005 winter edition of the Wonder Festival happening
on the 20th of Feburuary. Well I'll just keep my eyes peeled for any WF reports available online next week as well
as hoping to hear good news from the crew of La Tendo to see if they managed to bring in some exclusive goodies.

4th January 2005:
Well not a very good start to the year as the entire world is still grieving over the
Boxing Day massive earthquakes (Richter scale: 9!) and tsunami over at Indonesia which
resulted in 10000 over deaths in many part of Asia. I would like to hereby wish those missing to be
found alive and safely soon and condolences to those who had unfortunately lost their love ones...
On a more personal front, new copyrights law means that I could not so fervently download anime
via bittorrents as before.. therefore have to set budget for anime DVDs soon...
A lot of new products over the opening 4 months of 2005 looks pretty exciting and mouth-watering...
Now just need to have enough budget for everything I want.
I have uploaded Top Ten Collections
for 2004.
Added the likes of One Piece Adventure, One Piece Full Color R Part 2, Chibki Maruko chan diorama,
