I'll try my best to hunt down the best websites in the world to introduce fellow collectors worldwide about this unique toys collecting culture we have here.
This month I'm introducing this Japanese online store, Shokugan
Honpo.
A very up-to-date website which covers the latest series of candy toys (mainly),
trading figures and gashapons to their avid supporters. They also provided sales
of the various series they had in their store, unfortunately they only transact
within Japan.
What I really like about this site beside preview of the upcoming series, is
that they provide additional information of the series like the manufacturers,
and other information like the nature of the series and interesting features
within each series. However, you need some command of Japanese to understand.
Lastly I find this website a bit pro-Kaiyodo but no wonder because of their high
quality and variety.

Always thought gashapons collection is pretty much confined to Asia, so I was pleasantly surprise to came upon this site , simply named "Gashapon & Shokugan" by this Canadian collector whom has a pretty extensive gashapons and shokugans collection with beautiful pictures taken unlike mine.
Another main thing I like about his/her website is that he/she actually gave us a lot of info about storage of your gashapons, how to fix some nigging problems like warpping and plenty of useful photography tips. Last but not least there's a trade or sell section which you might wanna take a look to check if there's some good deals to grab!

This month I'll feature yet another Japanese online toy store, "Spanky" which has carved a niche in designer vinyl toys and shokugans in Japan as well as the rest of the world for overseas could make order as well as the local Japanese.
What I like about this site is their dedication to shokugans. Though not as updated as shokuganpo, they always take beautiful pictures of the entire set with clear white background, allowing customers to have a good view of what they are getting. They also took the picture with the chase piece as well. I don't make order from them as I believe they might charge exorbitant price as they don't affix an exact price on their website.

This month's featured webpage is a Japanese fansite , Chiba no Saru.
An full blown maniac (maniaku) from Chiba who simply love all sorts of shokugans from made by Kaiyodo as well as
Japanese animes and toukatsu like sentai, Kamen Rider and Ultraman.
One main feature is that the webmaster is always on the go to major events like "World Characters' Convention" or "Wonderfest"
as well as opening of places like museums, Enoshima aquarium (with that exclusive gashapons from Kaiyodo) and even Zooraisa!
However you might require a bit of Japanese to understand what's going on.
Yet another Japanese fansite for this month. Taste is the child of
mojya san who is a big fan of exquisite Japanese anime characters toys, PVC collectibles figurines (gashapons, shokugans etc)
as well as complete PVC or resin model figurines.
What I like about his/her site is that he/she took a lot of effort to take plenty of pictures of his/her collections.
And his/her photography skills is superb for sure. Definitely better yours truly. You should
check out his/her room section, how envious! However it's completely Japanese, so it might take a while
to manoveur around.
After 2 months hiatus, the link of the month for October bring you a relatively new online shokugan store from Japan. Shokugan Ookaku is much like Shokugan-po introduced above in which they provide collectors an avenue to buy their favorite shokugans from almost all manufacturers available. Whereas Shokugan-po only sell in sets or singly after the individual prodcuts have been released, Shokugan Ookaku actually allow you to reserve a complete inner box at discounted price months before the products actually release.
Rarely can I find a webpage showing collectors doing their own customisation of their gashapon/traidng figures collection, so I was thrilled to discover EpisodeGG which is owned by Hideyoshi san who loves Gundam, Kamen Rider and Saint Seiya. You should see his modified female Goldan Saints in which he masterfully incorporate Bandai's HG figurines with Yujin SR figures, as well as figures form other brands like Spring, Epoch and exhaust!
This month I'm here to introduce an interesting collector's webpage in which this Japanese collector like yours truly loves to make little storylines with his miniatures collections. In Hitsori Gashapon Mura (Village), you would have awild ride browsing through what the talented Hitsori san has done. He also gives an excellent set of tutorials on how to customise your figurines. I really envy his ability and would continue see what he has to offer in the future, you can enjoy it yourself:
It's tough been a doll collector...Supply is limited and prices are exorbitant. However this didn't deterred a doll-loving American Mom of 2 (soon) who created a nice little webpage to showcase her delightful collection of dolls:
into your link page, thanks in
advance!
