1.7th December 2003 Sunday, the gang headed to Nishio fish
market for breakfast before visiting Nobori betsu. Before they took the
rail, the beautiful snow covered surroundings of the Youth Hostel welcome
them to a brand new day.

2. However our dear Corin wasn't feeling too chirpy, perhaps she could
not really get used to the cold weather yet. Perhaps it's a bad hair day? |
3.As she left in a flurry for the station which was stone throw
away from the hostel, they could see the bicycles in the neighbourhood all
covered up with snow. Well I guessed it wasn't too safe to cycle in such a
condition anyway. |
 4.
The gang feeling upbeat as they took the JR rail towards Tanuki-cho.
|
5.It was a bit cosy underground as the station was equipped with an
effective heater system but as you ascend to the ground level, the cold
breeze would actually wake you up.
|

6.You are looking at Tanuki-cho which is a well-known shopping area in
Sapporo which stretched for a few streets. Tanuki by the way is a racoon-like
animal to represent the spirits of Hokkaido.
|
7. This is a personal favorite as KK and Corin were posing
in front of a little stream just at the front of Nishio fish market. A
beautiful scene with the pure white snow covering the stream and it's
surrounding.
|

8. The locals told us that it only started snowing the day before, but
it must be some intensive snowing that resulted in the place all cover up
in white.
